Qualifications of Applicants
1. All foreign nationals, including both parents, who have graduated (or will graduate) from high school in Korea or abroad.
2. Foreigners who have completed all their education abroad, equivalent to Korean elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels (applicable only if the applicant is a foreigner).
*If you hold dual citizenship, including Korean citizenship, you are not eligible to apply. *If you or your parents have renounced (lost) Korean nationality, you must attach a document to prove. *If the applicant is a legal family member of one of the parents, only the nationality of the relevant father or mother will be reflected in the eligibility requirements. *Homeschooling is not available for our service.
Language Proficiency Qualifications
Freshman
1. Passed Level 3 of the KHU Korean Language Test
2. TOPIK Level 3 or above
3. Enrolled in and completed Intermediate 2 Korean Language Course through KHU-affiliated language institutes
4. Korea Immigration and Integration Program level 3 or above (or obtain 61 score or higher at the Pre-test)
5. King Sejong Institute Korean Language Intermediate level 1 or above(Practical program and online program are not acceptable)
6. Graduates (or prospective graduates) of Korean high schools who demonstrate sufficient Korean language proficiency (International and foreign schools are not eligible).
Transfer
1. Passed Level 4 of the KHU Korean Language Test
2. TOPIK Level 4 or above
3. Enrolled in and completed Intermediate 2 Korean Language Course through KHU-affiliated language institutes
4. Korea Immigration and Integration Program level 4 or above (or obtain 61 score or higher at the Pre-test)
5. King Sejong Institute Korean Language Intermediate level 2 or above(Practical program and online program are not acceptable)
6. Graduates (or prospective graduates) of Korean high schools who are recognized as having sufficient Korean language skills (international schools and foreign schools are not acceptable).
